Bringing Neighbors Together

Bringing Neighbors Together is a model Police/Community partnership combining the efforts of law enforcement, the faith-based community, and other community organizations in an effort to improve the quality of life for all of the citizens of Selma. The goal of the organization is to promote healing and establish a positive future, free of violence and filled with a feeling of security, where families prosper and children reach their fullest potential.

Christian Café

Every Wednesday evening at the First United Methodist Church
a hot dinner is served to seniors and others in need.
Various congregations in Selma take turns each week to provide
and serve meals. 
Our church serves about once every 3 months.

Food Pantry at
Extending Hands Ministry

Our church hosts a food distribution on the 
2nd and 4th Mondays of every month at 8:00 AM.

Selma Cares

Selma Cares is a local non-profit organization that helps needy families.
