First Christian Chrurch
New Here?
We're so glad you're checking out First Christian Church!
Whether you're new to the church or looking for a place to belong, we would love to have you here.
We all know visiting a new church can feel intimidating-- you never know what to expect.
That's why we have listed a few things to help you feel at home before you even arrive.

What Should I Wear?
We believe you should feel as comfortable as possible so whatever that looks like to you will work for us. You won't find many suits or ties, at FCC we are more jeans and a t-shirt. We even sometimes do game day where you wear a team jersey! We are not concerned about outward appearances. So come as you are!
What About My Kids?
When you walk through those doors your children are welcome to be with us in Worship. We also have "Junior Worship" for kids in 3rd through 5th grade downstairs in our fellowship hall if they would like to join other children in learning more about God and the Church. If you have younger children or infants and don't feel comfortable being in the sanctuary, you are very welcome to sit in the Narthex (the small room right in the main entrance to the sanctuary) and still be involved with us in Worship!

What Do I Do When I Get There?
Sunday Service starts at 10:30 AM. We encourage people to arrive 10-15 minutes early to grab a seat, chat with neighbors, and get settled in before worship begins. Once on site, our greeter will hand you a bulletin with the order of service which will guide you though Worship. Continue up the large set of stairs or enter the Sanctuary. If you cannot navigate stairs easily, we have a ramp on the left of the building. The restrooms are located downstairs in our Fellowship Hall (our signage will show where, but if you need help, please feel free to reach out to anyone)!

How Long Will I Be There?
Our service is about 60-75 minutes long, some run a tad longer if there's something special happening (like a Baptism). We have announcements and information on the screen located at the front of the sanctuary before Worship begins. You'll sing, pray, hear Scripture, hear an inspirational message from our Senior Pastor, and have an opportunity to participate in the Lord's Supper.

Communion is an important part of our Worship service and is observed weekly. It is open to all people who are with us during Worship. You do not need to be a church member or do anything special to be able to receive. "We welcome all to the Lord's Table as God has welcomed us." Of course, if you do not wish to partake, that is okay as well and will be respected!
